The Ardent Africa Foundation is our philanthropic arm and leads fundraising on the platform until public crowdfunding opens under Bank of Ghana licensing. We leverage the platform to identify, verify, and co-fund high-impact NGOs, respond to crises, and build capacity within our network of partners.

The Foundation receives funding through a combination of private philanthropy, strategic corporate partnerships, and voluntary contributions from generous donors using the Ardent Africa platform who choose to leave a tip to support our continuous grant-making efforts.

Yes. To maintain rigorous accountability and measure impact effectively, we prioritize registered nonprofits, legally recognized community-based organizations, and verified cooperatives. Applicants must demonstrate at least 6 months of active, documented programmatic work.

We strategically direct proactive grants toward 4 core pillars: Education and Skill Development, Healthcare Access, Economic Resilience & Empowerment, and Emergency Crisis Response.

For emergency crisis response, we activate and disburse funds within 48 to 72 hours to pre-vetted partners. Standard community capacity grants are typically disbursed within 21 days following final approval and field verification.

Yes. Beyond capital, we provide grantee partners with technical assistance, access to the Ardent Africa digital toolkit, and mentorship on financial transparency and impact reporting.

Grant recipients provide streamlined reports at 6- and 12-month intervals, tracking progress against outcome metrics agreed during grant approval.

No. Giving to the Foundation is zero-fee: we deduct nothing from your gift and nothing from the grants we distribute. The full amount you give goes to the work.

We use independent field verification, mandatory partner reporting at key intervals, and platform data. Verified results and impact stories feed annual transparency reporting.
